Questions Frequently Asked of
Dr. Rand: |
|
Q:
HOW DO THE LASERS WORK?
A:
Unlike other
techniques and older lasers, my lasers do not work by burning the
skin. Gentle effective beams of light seek out the tattoo and
break the ink down. The tattoo fades with each treatment over
time. |
Q:
HOW MANY
TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
A:
All tattoos are
different and multiple treatments are always required.
Treatments are usually separated by a period of about 6-8 weeks. |
Q:
DO ALL TATTOOS FADE
EQUALLY FAST?
A:
Amateur tattoos fade
quicker than professional tattoos. In addition, density of
ink, skin type, and location are also factors that influence
progress and results. |
Q: WHY DO I NEED A
FREE CONSULTATION?
A:
As you can see from the
discussion thus far, every tattoo and every person is different.
You deserve individual and more accurate information. I will
be better able to answer questions about your specific tattoo after
examining it. |
Q: DOES IT HURT?
A:
I utilize an advanced
European cooling device that numbs your skin without the need for
any needles. It also reduces swelling, enhances healing and
improves safety. Our patients love this new technology.
It makes all the difference. |
Q. WHO WILL PERFORM MY LASER TREATMENT?
A.
I
will. For the past 10 years and in over 10,000 treatments I have
always personally performed all tattoo removal. I never transfer
your care to a nurse, physician assistant or technician. This is
my guarantee to my patients who expect and appreciate this level
of service and expertise |
